J. Guy Morgan, MA, PhD, C.Math, C.Phys
Guy Morgan was born and brought up in Warwickshire. After seven years at Cambridge University he moved to Oxfordshire at the end of 1978 to join the fusion programme at Culham Laboratory. He is currently employed as a senior technical specialist by Culham Electromagnetics and Lightning Ltd at the same location, now renamed the Culham Science Centre.

Dr Morgan has lived in Longworth since 1982. He joined the Parish Council in 1991 and has been its vice-chairman since 1998. His Parish Council interests include the maintenance and safety of the children's playground, and a dislike of excessive central interference in the running of local councils. He attempts to promote Longworth's interests whenever he can.

Dr Morgan is married with two teenage sons. After DIY, house and car maintenance he has no time to pursue his hobby interests of amateur radio, amateur astronomy and photography.
