Hinton Waldrist Church Fete raises £1680
19 June 2004 - The Hinton Waldrist Church Fete took place in less than perfect weather conditions but nevertheless raised the very healthy sum of £1680. The on-off showers failed to dampen the spirits of those who attended, and even though it was evident that competing attractions such as Euro 2004 had kept some Hintonians firmly on the couch, all the stalls did a brisk trade.

The Churchwardens would like to thank all those who helped at the Fete and those who supported it with their presence and their cash. The gardens of Glebe Farm were looking lovely and special thanks go to Mr and Mrs Lewis for hosting the Fete, and to the organizers.
