Longworth Fete a Huge Success
This year's Longworth fete raised the amount of just under £3000 - and they ran out of ice-cream!!

A glorious sunny day with impatient queues at both entrances. Against a mellow background of brass from the Highworth Silver Band, dogs ran and jumped in the arena, old familiar items of jumble were once again recycled and cool cakes sold like hot ones.

Thanks to organisers and stallholders alike, and also to incomer Michael McLintock for the use of his splendidly sited field!
