Judo Club
On Saturday mornings there's Judo for all children and young people in the Village Hall. Classes are organized most Saturday mornings during term time. Jim Lambert, who runs the successful Judo Club in Appleton on a Friday evening and teaches Judo at a number of local schools, runs the Longworth Judo Club. Classes start at 9.30 am and last one hour. The Club is open to boys and girls over the age of five and is suitable for children of all abilities, those with no previous experience and those who have moved up 'a belt or two'.

Judo is great fun, it teaches many skills including self-discipline, and is an Olympic sport.

Autumn 2004 schedule: first session is Saturday 11th September, continuing until Saturday 11th December, with a break for half term (i.e. no session on 23rd or 30th October).

Each session costs £3.00 and is paid termly or half-termly.
