
Longworth is one of the seven churches in the United Benefice of Cherbury with Gainfield.
The other churches in the Benefice are Buckland, Charney Bassett, Hinton Waldrist, Littleworth, Lyford and Pusey.
The Rector is Sally Welch who is assisted by Joy Hance, the Associate Priest and Meg Terry, the Licensed Lay Minister.

These are held each week across the Benefice. There is a service in St. Mary's Church in Longworth on most Sundays.
However, if there is no service in St. Mary's on a particular Sunday, you are encouraged to attend a service in one of the other churches in the benefice.
There is a wide range of services, including 1662 Said Communion, All Age worship and Holy Communion (Common Worship).
These are held occasionally and are an opportunity for members of all the 7 churches to worship together.
Sunday School meets on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month, starting at 9.45 a.m. in the Rectory. All children aged between 3 and 10 are very welcome.

This is a short time of prayer held in the church each Tuesday morning at 9:15.
This is a special service for all children in the Benefice under 11, and is generally held on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 4.00pm at Lyford Church. Parents are welcome to a cup of tea at Lyford Grange while the service is taking place.
